Aging Advocacy Day at the State Capitol is May 17. On this important day, everyone with an interest in supporting senior adults is invited to meet with state legislators about issues affecting Wisconsin’s aging population. It’s easy to participate!
No experience is needed. In the morning is a training session, hosted near the State Capitol. In the afternoon, go to the Capitol to meet your state lawmakers from your district. Share your stories to help them understand how legislative policies impact older adults. All legislator visits will be scheduled for you. It’s a great way to make your voice heard!
To register, there are several options:
contact your local senior center, ADRC (608-240-7400) or aging center for help;
or go online to register,
or download and print a registration form.
