What better way to start the Autumn season than swinging golf clubs on a Madison golf course? Mark your calendars now for Monday, Sept. 22, and play for fun and charity!
Registration is now open for the 1st Annual Independent Living Golf Outing at Hawks Landing Golf Club. Join the fun with a great day of food, camaraderie and golf scramble. Foursomes are encouraged, with a shotgun start set for noon. Hawks Landing, on the west side of Madison, offers an 18-hole, par-72 course. A local nonprofit, Independent Living has been helping seniors and adults with disabilities manage their independence for more than 40 years. With financial support from the community, Independent Living is able to serve more adults with in-home care, home health care and housing options in Madison, Fitchburg and Sun Prairie. All proceeds from the golf outing benefit seniors and adults with disabilities in Dane County.
